The Electrical Engineer is responsible to maintain current electrical designs, work in a safe manner, adhering to all applicable company and OSHA safety guidelines. Maintains production and quality by ensuring operation electronic equipment, electronic systems, control systems, components, and parts by completing assembly and testing procedures. Performs all aspects of electrical diagnostics, troubleshooting, and improvements of electronic and electromechanical systems. Manages and directs hook-up of electrical distribution for CZ equipment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Design control, automation, instrumentation and power project details Develop electrical schematics and layout drawings Plan installation and start-up of equipment including inter-connecting drawings Must be able to trouble shoot and develop electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic schematics Must have the ability to conceptually design, plan and automate electrical needs. Will work with cross-functional teams including business development, process engineering and manufacturing engineering and operations Provides status updates and technical presentations to internal and external customers Works with external suppliers developing new or optimizing existing processes Follow all company safety policies and report any unsafe conditions to Manufacturing Manager, EHS Manager, and/ or Director of Manufacturing Maintain a high level of confidentiality regarding company products and processes Assist in applying lean manufacturing concepts and 5S Perform tasks/duties related to special projects or assignments Perform other duties as assigned by department management

Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering
3-5 years of relevant experience desired in a manufacturing environment
Working knowledge of machine controls and their applications
Knowledge of applicable industrial electrical standards.
Knowledge of quality systems and metrology tools is desirable
Knowledge of GD&T and capable understanding of CAD terminology
Experience in Lean technologies in a manufacturing environment including advanced problem solving/6-sigma skills
Must be able to work effectively individually and in a team environment
Ability to manage multiple projects with competing priorities
Must be able to pay close attention to details
Must be able to perform successfully under minimum supervision
