As an Account Assistant, you will be supporting the finance department and the management team by completing routine clerical and accounting tasks. Maintaining reports, and completing basic bookkeeping duties for the company
Working in a small Operations team, you will help maintain the office and keep it running , deal with customers and external Contractors.
Role Responsibilities Update Sage accounting system Sales & Purchases ensuring invoices are raised and posted accurately and in a timely manor Working with excel spreadsheets Updating and processing Client POs Processing of invoices Answering any accounting queries Managing expenses Credit Control Preparation of BACS runs Responding to internal and external queries General office administration Assist the Finance Manager and team with any other duties as required.
Experience Required Experience on Sage Line 50 and Sage 200 essential. Relevant experience within a similar role Excellent communication skills to liaise with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders. Excellent organisational skills to ensure that all queries are dealt with in a timely manner. Self-Motivated Experience of working within a small team. Intermediate to Advance Microsoft Word and Excel.
